
The Saint John Fire Department has 7 Fire Stations located in the city proving 24/7 coverage to the citizens of Saint John. In 2008, the SJFD responded to over 9400 emergency calls . The Saint John Firefighters Association has 180 members who work in Fire Operations and Fire Prevention and Training covering an area of approximately 124 Square miles.
